Senator Chapin Recognizes St. Peter/St. Francis School Students at Torrington Essay Contest Ceremony

Torrington – State Senators Clark Chapin (R-30) and Kevin Witkos (R-8) hosted an essay contest ceremony with sixth grade students from St. Peter/St. Francis School on Thursday, May 6th. The event was hosted in partnership with Torrington Savings Bank which presented awards for the winning essays. The essay topic was “Who is Your Favorite U.S. President and Why?” The students were joined by their parents, grandparents, school administrators, teachers and members of the public who gathered to recognize their accomplishments.
