Sal Rynkiewicz is running as an incumbent Republican candidate for Town Council. In July Sal was nominated to fill a vacant Council seat and was accepted by the Town Council. Prior to joining the Council, Sal had served on the Zoning Board of Appeals since 2019.
Sal has worked in the Cyber Defense and Information Technology field since 1996, holding various positions in telecommunication and financial sectors on Wall Street in New York and Stamford CT. He speaks three languages, enjoys hiking, chess, guitar and travel with his family.
Originally from Poland, Sal moved to the United States in 1989, living in Rego Park, New York. He and his wife Teresa moved to New Milford 20 years ago with their two sons Patrick and Mark.
They chose New Milford because it offered a great standard of living, friendly people in a wonderful New England town with a great touch of history.
