Walter has been a member of the New Milford Board of Finance since 2011. He serves on the New Milford Hospital and Hospital Foundation Board of Directors sub committee on pensions and investments and New Milford Hospital Board of Directors sub committee on quality assurance on all hospital services and departments.
Walter has been a resident of New Milford for 23 years, is employed as a Registered Nurse at New Milford Hospital where he is the current Treasurer, and past President of the New Milford Hospital Federation of Registered Nurses. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War.
